So, I just realized it has
been a pretty long time since I have posted anything... not like anyone cares or anything but I am determined to keep up with at least one thing in my life. Then, I realized that I quit posting when Nick finished school.... I haven;t been bored and lonely
for a change

I guess I can start from the beginning of the break. Nick and I decided to take a little weekend trip down to Orlando and go to Universal studios. We had a blast. We stayed all day and rode all of the roller coasters at least twice. It was so refreshing to get to spend time together. We both said it was
like another honeymoon...minus St. Lucia, and the all you can dink and eat
Sandels.
lol but it was still a blast. We stayed at the red roof inn which is highly recommended. It was so nice. Then, we went to
Carrabba's (one of
my fav. chain
restaurant's), and also we drove down to see my brother and sister-in-law. They were at Disney World for the week. We packed as much fun into the weekend as possible.
We had a good trip home. We stopped half way where Nick booked us the
baites motel. I wore two pairs
of underwear, a long
sleeve shirt, and pants to sleep in just to give you an idea of how dirty this shit hole
HOJO was. It was by far the worst place I have ever slept in! Actually, I did not sleep, it is the worst place I have ever laid my head and stayed awake all night. Duncan didn't even look like he approved! We drove into Iota for the annual huge ass x-mas shindig that they have. It was nice to see EVERYONE. The we went home to mom's. I forget how much I love being home when I am away. I feel like I block it out just so I don;t get homesick. But when I am home I just feel so normal again. Everyone was there. My babies are getting so big. Kali is the most beautiful child I have ever seen and I am not saying that just because she is my
niece. She is so funny and she has a good heart just like her mom. Sara looks just like Jamie. She has the prettiest blue eyes I have ever seen and she wrinkles her nose in the sweetest was while she smiles and laughs. It is so hard to go home and see them and how much I am missing. They are growing too fast! By the way, I am sure most of my days are mixed up....The next day I took Kali to the mall to go to Libby Lou. She loved it. She got her hair, nails, and makeup done. She said it was "our girls day and uncle Nick and paw paw were not invited". :) Me, mom, Kali, and Sara went to the mall again the next day. We had a good time and we got to eat at Cheesecake Bistro which I miss. Kali also got to go to Libby Lou again. I took pics this time. On Thursday I got to FINALLY go and get my hair done. It was much needed. Kali came with me and Toni, my colorist, let her watch and help mix the dye. She ate that up. After, we went to
DeAngelo's because she was such a good girl... she has such good
restaurant manners it is amazing! Christmas Eve was x-mas at the
Crosbie house this year. Kali and Sara racked up, I thought WE got a lot of crap when we were little but it is nothing like them. Kali is the queen of Guess Who. That child was kicking ass and taking names. She beat me like 5
x's in a row. And I was trying!!! For x-mas we went to Nick's house. There was a little
drama but it was nice. We racked up on cash and I was given specific instructions... I could not pay any bills with this money it was to spend on useless crap...I
followed directions needless to say. I had fun
having out with
Jordin. She is so funny! I am always
surprised to hear what will come out of her mouth next. Sometimes I forget that she is my younger sister. I though big sister's were supposed to be cooler, but that is so not the case in our situation. I look up to her. Jennifer has baby fever. Please Michael give in already!
AHHH! Actually, it was kind of funny, I never thought she would be so antsy to have one so soon. To each his own! She will be a very good mom. Jamie is doing well. She likes her new job and she is engaged. It is good to see her come such a long way. I
really like her bf too. I did not get to see my dad as much as I would have liked to but he seems to be
ok. He is working on a diet and I am proud of him for that. MOM QUIT SMOKING!!!! wow! I am interested to see how this comes out. My
grandfather bet her 2000 bucks if she would quit and with that on the line, who wouldn't! I am proud of her. She is one her way to a healthier her. I always tell her shes only got one body, she can;t mess it up. I hope she sticks with it. I think my favorite part of being home was
PHase 10. We had like a marathon. Once with the
Searcy's and once with Jude, Nick, mom, and Kali. That
game is fun! Oh, I know I am all over that place but I have to say I PUSHED A CAR!!!! YES, I AM THAT STRONG! I went with Ms. Nancy to go buy some
Daquiri's and we came back to my house. Roxanna came over and also a guy we went to High School with. His truck broke down and Ms. Nancy cracked her grill on her
car trying to push it because it was in PARK! duh! So me, Roxanna and
home pushed it. It was really funny. Oh and I can;t forget about church. We got to see people that I have not seen in FOREVER. I was so excited Ginny and her babies were there. She is just as pretty as ever and her girls are precious! And, we got to play the stocking game!!! Ah, good times!
For x-mas, Nick got me my purse, a GPS, and a 50 dollar Gift card to my favorite bagel shop. I think it will take me about a whole year to spend that much at a bagel shop but it was sweet.
Anyways, Nick is itching to get out and do something. I just have so much to blog since I
haven't in forever. We are going ice skating tonight
yay!
Desperate Housewives is on tomorrow... a new episode!!!
Yay. Work is going great I start my classes on Monday. Life is
exc ellent. I will say Nick and I were pretty depressed on the way back here. It was hard to leave everyone. I miss you guys and love you! Write again soon!
