I'm turning over a new leaf!

So, I know I have been the worst at blogging! Ever since I started working I have just stopped but this will change! I will give the people what they need! :) ha, like anyone really reads this! Anyways.... today I was motivated by shopping. What else is new? I decided I want to start working out due to the muffin top that is continuously growing over my jeans. Gross! And what will motivate me to actually get my butt off the couch. New work out clothes of course! It just makes me so happy. I bought about three new outfits and spent way too much money. I am sure Nick will have something to say about it. :) We will see if I keep this up after the "new clothes" smell goes away.
Last weekend Nick suprised me by flying home. We stayed at the Hilton hotel in Orlando and went to universal studios. We had a blast. We ate lots of good food, rode bad ass roller coasters and went out on the town. It is funny how being away from someone makes you love them that much more. I am so lucky to have such a thoughtful husband. All I need to see now is my #1, Duncan. I miss that baby so much. He has had quite the eventful summer. He ate my mom's counch. (We will be replacing it) and peed on my dad's bed. (my dad already hates him!) :) poor daddy! Mom said the other day they could not find him because my dad was left to watch him. She said that she walked outside and saw him sitting under dad's umbrella just relaxing. So Duncan, he is a smart baby!
What else has happened this summer.... Jennifer came to visit. It was VERY HOT when I took her downtown ut we got to relax a little and just enjoy some sister time. She is pregnant and I feel that it is a girl. We shall see if my predictions are correct! Kali, Jo, mom and Sara also came the weekend after Nick left. It was a good trip. kali and Sara are more and more beatiful every time I see them. Kali has got game! We were at the beach and she lost her new ring in the ocean. She cried a little and then realized that mom would just buy her another one so she got over it. Then, these two little boys around her age came walking up and told her that they wanted to help her find her ring. They put there little goggles on and searched away. It was the cuttest thing I have ever seen!
Anyways, I have nothing interesting left to say. I guess I need to blog about work sooner or later. There is always something interesting going on with these crazy clients of mine.
To all of my family who may ready this, I miss you and love you. I can;t wait to be home!!!! 9 more days!!!! YESSSS

I think I have ADHD

Iam sitting in my training for work right nowans iI cant act like an adult for the life of me.  iI cantcan't wait for this weekend...corey and natalie are comincoming to visit and iI think (but nick will not confirm it) that we are going to see blue man group this weekend which iI cant wait for!!! last weekend we finally got our carpet repaired. the grand total was $400!?!iI almost crapped on myself.  but it definitly looks better than it used to! iI am taking my certification test on fridayFriday and imI'm so nervous. i think iI am too distracted about this weekend.   we have this place next to work that iI am so hitting up in a little whole. taco salad tuesdaysTuesdays,whoop whoop. iI know this note is random but iI am typing it on my phone and iI dontdon't knpwknow how to start a new paragraph.lol ok peeps have a good day and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my wonderful baby sister jojie poop!!!  have fun, iI love you!

This kicks sliced bread's ass!

I went out and got the iphone yesterday. I gave in, I have no will power and I am a pathetic excuse for a person.... but it is by far the coolest phone I have ever held. It does everything!!! And just when I think I have figured it out, it goes and shocks me again. My only complaint is that I just bought my new ipod not very long ago and now I have no need for it. I think I will send it to Jordin.... Jo, do you want it? I am so excited to play on it some more!
I got invited to the cutest thing yesterday! It is a cookie party. Everyone bakes homemade cookies and at the party we have a taste contest. Everyone will secretly vote for their favorite cookie and the winner get something. Also, we all exchange recipes... I think it will be cute. Cheesy, but cute!
Training for work is going good. I feel like I am learning a lot. Almost too much. I wonder to myself.... how will I ever remember all of this crap that I have to do? But I guess you just do. I love the people that I have met. It is funny how alike we all are. We get to go out to lunch everyday. Not too bad! today we were driving back and I had to call the dentist to make an apt. (as if TWO root canals aren't enough, my wisdom teeth are starting to make my whole jaw on one side ache) I told the stupid receptionist this and she said "mam, did your husband Punch you in the face"... and I said"no, my husband didn't punch me". Well all of the girls in the car started laughing in disbelief that this person would say that. The secretary so she was sorry and joking but I told her it was ok, it was a car full of social workers and that we talk about domestic violence all the time. She sounded embarrassed (which is good)... so inappropriate!
Anyways, I am out of things to say. Life really hasn't been too incredibly interesting lately. Feel free to give me a call on my wonderful phone....

Ahh... I'm a slacker

Ok, so I just read Jordin's blog. She is so damn funny. It makes me think that I am a really boring person because I have nothing funny to talk about :(. Yes, I would like some cheese with my whine!
Anyways... I have been in training all week. I only have seven weeks to go but I am really enjoying it and learning a lot from it. It dosen't hurt that I am getting paid to do nothing either/ In fact, it is quite nice. We learned yesterday that if we screw some shit up we can go to jail for up to 15 years. Good to know, don't screw up! I have also met some pretty cool girls. I have been going out to lunch with them every day. I love going out to eat.
Lately, I have been a bit of a shopaholic... I think it is a mid-week thing. My Wednesday or Thursday I am itching to buy something. The mall is litterally on my way home from work. They have the best sales right now, it makes me want to pee my pants. I have so many things in my closet with the tags still on them, yet I can't seem to stop shopping! I really want the iPhone right now. Nick laid the smack down already and threatened my life if I bought it without telling him. hehe :) j/k.
I am trying to decide whether or not I want to cut my hair. Every now and then when I see pretty long hair I get tempted to grow it back out. Hmm.... I don't know.

I've been Incogneto!

So, I just realized it has been a pretty long time since I have posted anything... not like anyone cares or anything but I am determined to keep up with at least one thing in my life. Then, I realized that I quit posting when Nick finished school.... I haven;t been bored and lonely for a change Yippy for me.
I guess I can start from the beginning of the break. Nick and I decided to take a little weekend trip down to Orlando and go to Universal studios. We had a blast. We stayed all day and rode all of the roller coasters at least twice. It was so refreshing to get to spend time together. We both said it was like another honeymoon...minus St. Lucia, and the all you can dink and eat Sandels. lol but it was still a blast. We stayed at the red roof inn which is highly recommended. It was so nice. Then, we went to Carrabba's (one of my fav. chain restaurant's), and also we drove down to see my brother and sister-in-law. They were at Disney World for the week. We packed as much fun into the weekend as possible.
We had a good trip home. We stopped half way where Nick booked us the baites motel. I wore two pairs of underwear, a long sleeve shirt, and pants to sleep in just to give you an idea of how dirty this shit hole HOJO was. It was by far the worst place I have ever slept in! Actually, I did not sleep, it is the worst place I have ever laid my head and stayed awake all night. Duncan didn't even look like he approved! We drove into Iota for the annual huge ass x-mas shindig that they have. It was nice to see EVERYONE. The we went home to mom's. I forget how much I love being home when I am away. I feel like I block it out just so I don;t get homesick. But when I am home I just feel so normal again. Everyone was there. My babies are getting so big. Kali is the most beautiful child I have ever seen and I am not saying that just because she is my niece. She is so funny and she has a good heart just like her mom. Sara looks just like Jamie. She has the prettiest blue eyes I have ever seen and she wrinkles her nose in the sweetest was while she smiles and laughs. It is so hard to go home and see them and how much I am missing. They are growing too fast! By the way, I am sure most of my days are mixed up....The next day I took Kali to the mall to go to Libby Lou. She loved it. She got her hair, nails, and makeup done. She said it was "our girls day and uncle Nick and paw paw were not invited". :) Me, mom, Kali, and Sara went to the mall again the next day. We had a good time and we got to eat at Cheesecake Bistro which I miss. Kali also got to go to Libby Lou again. I took pics this time. On Thursday I got to FINALLY go and get my hair done. It was much needed. Kali came with me and Toni, my colorist, let her watch and help mix the dye. She ate that up. After, we went to DeAngelo's because she was such a good girl... she has such good restaurant manners it is amazing! Christmas Eve was x-mas at the Crosbie house this year. Kali and Sara racked up, I thought WE got a lot of crap when we were little but it is nothing like them. Kali is the queen of Guess Who. That child was kicking ass and taking names. She beat me like 5 x's in a row. And I was trying!!! For x-mas we went to Nick's house. There was a little drama but it was nice. We racked up on cash and I was given specific instructions... I could not pay any bills with this money it was to spend on useless crap...I followed directions needless to say. I had fun having out with Jordin. She is so funny! I am always surprised to hear what will come out of her mouth next. Sometimes I forget that she is my younger sister. I though big sister's were supposed to be cooler, but that is so not the case in our situation. I look up to her. Jennifer has baby fever. Please Michael give in already! AHHH! Actually, it was kind of funny, I never thought she would be so antsy to have one so soon. To each his own! She will be a very good mom. Jamie is doing well. She likes her new job and she is engaged. It is good to see her come such a long way. I really like her bf too. I did not get to see my dad as much as I would have liked to but he seems to be ok. He is working on a diet and I am proud of him for that. MOM QUIT SMOKING!!!! wow! I am interested to see how this comes out. My grandfather bet her 2000 bucks if she would quit and with that on the line, who wouldn't! I am proud of her. She is one her way to a healthier her. I always tell her shes only got one body, she can;t mess it up. I hope she sticks with it. I think my favorite part of being home was PHase 10. We had like a marathon. Once with the Searcy's and once with Jude, Nick, mom, and Kali. That game is fun! Oh, I know I am all over that place but I have to say I PUSHED A CAR!!!! YES, I AM THAT STRONG! I went with Ms. Nancy to go buy some Daquiri's and we came back to my house. Roxanna came over and also a guy we went to High School with. His truck broke down and Ms. Nancy cracked her grill on her car trying to push it because it was in PARK! duh! So me, Roxanna and home pushed it. It was really funny. Oh and I can;t forget about church. We got to see people that I have not seen in FOREVER. I was so excited Ginny and her babies were there. She is just as pretty as ever and her girls are precious! And, we got to play the stocking game!!! Ah, good times!
For x-mas, Nick got me my purse, a GPS, and a 50 dollar Gift card to my favorite bagel shop. I think it will take me about a whole year to spend that much at a bagel shop but it was sweet.
Anyways, Nick is itching to get out and do something. I just have so much to blog since I haven't in forever. We are going ice skating tonight yay! Desperate Housewives is on tomorrow... a new episode!!! Yay. Work is going great I start my classes on Monday. Life is exc ellent. I will say Nick and I were pretty depressed on the way back here. It was hard to leave everyone. I miss you guys and love you! Write again soon!

Ahh, life is good. I finished my second week at my pretty cool new job. I am really enjoying it. I have met wonderful people and I feel like the work I am doing is very meaningful. It is pretty nice to have a job where you know you are changing peoples' lives.
Friday was wonderful... I went and bought the Coach bag I have been wanting for a couple of weeks now. I felt bad after because Nick was going to surprise me with it for Christmas. Oops... he had it all planned out and I just couldn't wait. I already got my GPS from him too. That was supposed to be my other Christmas present. So I guess I got everything already! ha Some things never change! Friday Night we went to this awesome sushi joint in town. It was a great start to my fun weekend. Nick finished school last week. HAAAALLAALLUUUYYYAAAHHH! Woo hoo... can I just say it is lovely to have my husband back! We planned a little weekend trip to Orlando to go to Islands of adventure. We drove in Saturday and hit the park all day. We had a blast and the park was slow this weekend so it could not have been more perfect. I got a little sick on the Dueling dragons but I pulled through! :) We got back to the hotel and showered to go eat at my favorite place, Carrabba's. After dinner, we drove down to visit Nichole and Jeremy (nicks sister and brother-in-law). It was fun to visit with them a while. After we got home we rented the movie Good Luck Chuck from the hotel. We fell asleep half way through it but the first half was funny. Today on the way home we stopped at Cracker Barrel. It is a little tradition i guess. Every time we travel we have to stop and eat there. Then we picked up Duncan. He was slap worn out! He had a play mate all weekend. Chris's dog is probably twice the size of Duncan and he wore Duncan's little butt out. It is so funny to see him this tired! He has been pretty much sleeping since we got home. :)
Anyways.... count down to home for the holidays........ 6 DAYS!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait! Now I have to go get my stinking nails done.. boo! :(

Boycott Wendy's!

This is the wierdest thing! I think Wendy's is out to get us! About a month ago Nick and I went to Wendy's. Our total was like $7. Well, luckily Nick pays close attention to our statement and he found that they actually charged us $57. So I called and bitched them out and they took of $50. My friend said I should have made them take it all off just for the trouble. Well, as if that wasn't wierd enough, Nick found yet another $57 charge on our account on Thursday! What are the odds? I had gone to wendy's on Friday but that charge was on there and it was correct. How sketchy are we going to look calling them with the same issue twice. They are probably going to think I am lieing but I am pissed. They will certainly hear from me tomorrow!

Anyways, I could not resist my temptations to go shopping yesterday. I caved and went to the mall. Like usual I spent too much money and Nick was mad at me. I went and visited my latest purse I want. It was so cute! I really wish I could get it but Nick thinks I just have too many. I say you can never have too many purses or shoes.

I start my new job tomorrow. I hope it works out. I am going to have to ask if I can take off for Christmas... I hope they let me. I have decided that I picked the WORST possible time to finally find a job. Nick doesn't even want me to do it. I really hope everything works out.
