So I was getting ready for work this morning. Everything was fine. I went into my closet to grab a pair of shoes. I look up....and to my horror.... a HUGE ASS roach! Crawling up my wall. What the fuck?!?!?! I ran in the kitchen to grab something to spray it with. I did not have roach spray and I know how those bastard's are. They don't like to die! I found some flea and tick spray. I shot him with it and he fell. Looked like he fell on my top shoe box. But I really don't know. He will just have to live there until Nick comes home. So of course I call Nick and bitch at him to call out landlord lady. He did not want to call. Yeah right, your ass better call. He acts like he does not know me by now. I will avoid confrontation at all costs. I got so mad I hung up. He better call. I can't sleep knowing that a roach of any size may crawl on me. It is bad enough I have to deal with this at my client's houses but when it is in my own... oh, hell no!

jessica... go buy some bengal roach spray! it works GREAT! yeah, my sister & i have had a similar problem lately. the other night, we were sitting in our CLEAN HOUSE and we saw a HUUUUGE roach... so we killed it. THEN as i was carrying the roach (on a fly swatter) to flush it down the toilet, another roach ran across my bathroom floor! i was HIGHLY offended! anyway, we sprayed with bengal roach spray all over the house, found a few dead ones the next morning, but haven't seen any since! it's kind of expensive... maybe $10-$12 for a can of it, but it's awesome!
:::disclaimer - my sister & i are not disgusting people! our neighbors were slobs & they moved out a few weeks ago. the landlord who owns that house has had the exterminator over a couple of times, so the roaches apparently decided to relocate to OUR house! but we are nipping it in the bud!:::
Thank you. I did spray a long time ago because I saw one when Nick left. I am NEVER home. I don't know how they are possibly surviving because there is nothing there to eat. When it is dark I can also see light shining through the door so I think the seal needs to be fixed. Thanks though, I appreciate the input.
Dude they are called palmetto bugs (i.e. gigantic Floridian roaches). They tend to come inside when it rains... That's one thing I hate about florida... It doesn't matter how much we spray the house or treat the yard, they somehow find a way to get in. Have Nick spray the house (like a terminator person) when he comes back and get a couple of roach traps to put in the house.
